Purpose

Full-time faculty members will attend officially called assemblies and graduation exercises.

Policy

Full-time faculty members will attend officially called assemblies and graduation exercises. Adjunct faculty members may attend.

Faculty members should encourage all students in their classes to attend official student assemblies.

Graduation exercises will be attended by all members of the faculty. Faculty members must attend either fall or spring graduation exercises, and are not required to attend both. Excused absences may be granted by the vice president for Academic Affairs. Adjunct faculty members may participate in graduation exercises.
