Purpose

Faculty members should attend faculty meetings promptly and without exception.

Policy

Faculty meetings are called at irregular intervals by the president or, as directed by the vice president for Academic Affairs. Faculty members should attend promptly and without exception. Absences must be approved by the faculty member’s dean and the vice president for Academic Affairs.

Whenever possible, the agenda will be distributed to the faculty prior to the time of the called meeting. Meetings shall be called with as much advance notice as possible.
