Purpose

Identifies faculty responsibilities for class list verification.


Policy

It is the responsibility of the faculty member to verify student class lists and attendance reporting through the student information system. After the drop/add period is over, a permanent class list is available in the student information system for each class. The permanent list must be carefully reviewed by the faculty member. Any student in the class at that time who is not on the permanent list will not be allowed to attend class. It is the responsibility of the faculty member to refer students not on the permanent class list to the Office of Academic Affairs. Faculty members are also responsible for confirming semester attendance electronically to ensure accurate records. A schedule for this reporting will be distributed by the Office of Student Development and Outreach each semester.
