Purpose

The purposes of the Teaching Technologies Subcommittee are to foster academic technology across all divisions and departments of Academic Affairs and to oversee the assessment of academic teaching technologies.

The Teaching Technologies Subcommittee reports to the Academic Affairs Committee; the Teaching Technologies Subcommittee will be composed of representatives from academic divisions and departments as shown in the membership below.

The Teaching Technologies Subcommittee shall meet one time every semester and thereafter as needed.


Membership

Director of Instructional Design, Chair

At least one academic dean

One faculty member from each academic division

At least one support staff member

Distance Education representative

Information and Educational Technologies Representative

Library Services representative

Student Services representative

Ex Officio:

Dean of Distance Education
