Purpose

To establish procedures for student registration.


Policy

Once the current Timetable of Classes is made available to students, registration runs continuously through STAR_NET, the web-based registration system, of Walters State Community College. Students must first meet with their academic advisors prior to accessing the system. Deadlines for adding/dropping classes, as well as fee payment deadlines, will be listed in the Timetable of Classes.

Late registration/adding classes runs through Friday of the first week of classes. A late registration fee may be added to registrations completed during this time period. If a student feels it is necessary to add/drop a class after the published deadlines, the student must see the vice president for Academic Affairs. 03/06; 08/12; 1/15
