Purpose

To define the purpose of student organizations and activities.

Policy

Student organizations and activities exist for the personal enjoyment and development of students at WSCC. Students are encouraged to become involved in the co-curricular student activities program and active student organizations. The benefits to be derived from such involvement cannot be measured nor graded; however, the contributions they make to the student’s total education cannot be overstated. The responsibility for the coordination of all student organizations and activities rest with the vice president for Student Services. The vice president for Student Services works closely with the Student Services Committee and the Student Government Association in carrying out this responsibility. 01/16; 05/16
