Purpose
The Data Standards Committee develops standards and guidelines and helps make decisions regarding maintenance of data in the BANNER system. The Data Standards Committee is responsible for the development and maintenance of the institution’s Guidelines for Data Standards, Data Integrity and Security, and the resolution of all data integrity issues. The committee has the authority to:
- Develop data standard policies
- Insures accuracy and consistency of data within the administrative systems
- Provide collaboration among the functional areas for data usage issues
- Define formatting and definition for all data elements within BANNER
Committee shall meet as needed.
