HITC 1051 - Professional Seminar2 credit(s)
This is a capstone course culminating in fundamental and comprehensive review of the domains, subdomains and tasks for entry-level registered health information technician competencies. As part of these competencies students will continue coding practice by use of encoder/grouper. Students will take mock registration exams for self-evaluation of domains, subdomains and tasks. Students will also review guides for professional activities such as resumes, job interviews, and professional conduct. Pre/Corequisite(s): Prerequisite or corequisites: MDCD 1030, MDCD 1040 S 4 hours laboratory/week
