CETC 2040 - Geothermal Heating Technologies

This course introduces students to the concept, design, installation, and use of geothermal heating systems in homes, businesses, and agricultural operations. Students will design and evaluate geothermal closed loop systems, including site evaluation, soil classifications, loop types, building installation, pump systems, and system maintenance. Students will receive hands-on experience with an installed geothermal heating installation. F. (NIT)
