A course of study combining classroom lecture and laboratory exercises for fluid power consisting of the basic fundamentals of hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems, basic theory of design, fluids and their properties, problem-solving techniques and industrial maintenance applications. Included in an extensive study of electrical-mechanical and hydraulic-pneumatic symbols and schematics. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all Learning Support competencies in Math or permission of instructor. F. (NIT) 3 hours lecture/2 hours laboratory
