MDCD 1020 - Basic CPT/HCPCS Coding

This course covers the basic principles of coding with CPT/HCPCS. Instruction on outpatient coding, including structure, rules and guidelines. Students will develop skills in using CPT to report reimbursable services. This course is a combination of classroom and on-line instruction. This course includes extensive use of computers and coding software. Pre/Corequisite(s): MDTR 1010. F. (T)
