FIRE 2320 - Building Construction for Fire Protection

Provide the components of building construction that relate to fire and life safety. The focus of this course is on firefighter and life safety. The elements of construction and design of structures are shown to be key factors when inspecting buildings, preplanning fire operations, and operating at emergencies. Prerequisite(s): FIRE 1310 or instructor approval. Completion of all Learning Support competencies in Reading and Writing. As needed. (NIT)
