The Certificate in Horticulture is designed to prepare individuals who have aspirations to strengthen their knowledge within the horticulture industry. The certificate offers the student the opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of plant growth and development. Subject matter includes turfgrass, soil, plant material, pests and production. The certificate requires 22 hours for completion; it is not a major or a substitute for the A.A.S. degree.

This program is designed for the student who does not intend to transfer to a baccalaureate degree program.
