Clean Energy Technology

The Clean Energy Technology program is an associate of applied science degree program, and is designed to train students who wish to enter the job market in selected areas of the clean energy field. The program emphasizes a background in core clean energy concepts, and allows students to choose a specific direction for their studies in targeted clean energy areas.

This program is designed for the student who does not intend to transfer to a baccalaureate degree program.

Degree: Associate of Applied Science

General Education Requirements (16 hours)


Humanities and/or Fine Arts


 Approved General Education Humanities/Fine Arts Elective1     3 credits

Behavioral/Social Sciences


 Approved Behavioral/Social Science Elective     3 credits

Total Credit Hours 60


1 General Education electives in each category must be chosen from approved courses listed in the college catalog.

2 Students should consult with a faculty advisor to determine appropriate course selections.
