Pre-Medicine

Designed to cover the first two years of course work for students preparing to study medicine. At least one additional year of course work will be required at a senior institution. The pre-medical student should plan the curriculum for a baccalaureate major because more students accepted into medical schools have the baccalaureate degree.

Degree: Associate of Science

Emphasis: Pre-Medicine

General Education Requirements (42 hours)

 

Communication (9 hours)

 

Humanities and/or Fine Arts (9 hours)

1 General Education electives in each category must be chosen from approved courses listed in the General Education Program .

4 Completion of above courses satisfies the requirements for the A.S. degree. Students should consider taking PHYS 2020/2021 to assure transfer sequence to senior institution.

  • Learning Support courses must be taken every semester until completed.
