EMRC 1010 - Emergency Medical Responder

This initial training course in the art of pre-hospital emergency medical care follows the guidelines set by the National Scope of Practice Model and an institutional required Clinical Practicum. Successful completion enables the student to sit for the certification examination given by the Tennessee Health, Emergency Medical Services. Emergency Medical Responders are individuals trained to assess patients, provide emergency care, and when necessary, move patients without causing injury.
