MATH 0030 - Mathematics Learning Support

3 credit(s)

A Learning Support Mathematics course including the topics of Real number sense, algebraic operations, analysis of linear equations and inequalities, systems of equations and systems of inequalities. Placement in the course is based on the college assessment and placement procedures. Students with equivalent placement scores of ACT MATH below 16 or ACT READ below 19 must be jointly enrolled in EDUC 1030, if not already successfully completed.  Students with equivalent placement scores of MATH ACT 16, 17 or 18 who are required to take MATH 0030 must be jointly enrolled in EDUC 1030 or MATH 1030 or MATH 1530 or MATH 1630.  Students in degree programs that do not require a college level mathematics course would take EDUC 1030 as either a prerequisite or co-requisite to their MATH 0030.
