11:12:00 Curriculum Subcommittee


Revision Responsibility:  Executive Council
Responsible Executive Officer:  Vice President for Academic Affairs                       

Purpose

The Curriculum Subcommittee will receive and review proposed curriculum changes to include course additions/deletions, proposals for new academic programs, and changes to existing academic programs. The Curriculum Subcommittee shall be co-chaired by a faculty member elected by the subcommittee members and a faculty member appointed by the Vice President of Academic Affairs. The Curriculum Subcommittee co-chairs will receive extra compensation (in the amount $750.00) for each year of service as co-chair.

Curriculum Subcommittee shall meet one time each semester and thereafter as needed.


Membership

Faculty member elected from committee membership, Co-Chair

Faculty member appointed by the Vice President of Academic Affairs, Co-Chair

One faculty member elected from each academic division/academic unit 

Ex Officio

Dean, Student Records Department

Director, Student Success and Advising

Vice President for Academic Affairs

Chair, General Education Committee

Representative from Institutional Effectiveness & Compliance

One student designated by the Vice President for Student Services
