PSCI 1010 - Principles of Physical Science

This is a one-semester course designed for the non-science major to fulfill general education requirements. This course includes (1) investigation of scientific methodology, common measurement systems, symbols and equations, problem solving approaches within the physical sciences; (2) a study of the fundamental concepts of Newtonian physics and (3) an introduction to basic chemistry. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all Learning Support competencies in Math and Reading. Corequisite(s): PSCI 1011. F,S (T)
