PHAR 2080 - Retail Pharmacy Practice

This work-study course includes experience in a retail-community pharmacy with prescription and non-prescription products, their compositions and indications, distribution and control. Students will perform normal clerical and technician-level responsibilities under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This experience will also include use of computers, customer contact and practice with billing and insurance forms.
