Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy

WSCC’s Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy provides educational services to individuals desiring a career in public safety. The Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy is committed to state-of-the-art instruction for the preparation of students to pass the Tennessee Peace Officer’s Standards and Training Commission’s certification exam. It is further committed to the continued education and enhancement of officer’s skills through advanced and specialized courses to fit the needs and demands of our law enforcement personnel. These services will be provided through an eight-week basic law enforcement academy and a 40 hour in-service program needed for the on-duty officers to maintain their certification.
