Designed for students planning to pursue an academic program in biology. Students should be fully aware of the curriculum of the institution to which they plan to transfer and must follow close advisement.

This program is designed for the student who does intend to transfer to a baccalaureate degree program.

³Students with ACT Math of 26 or higher can take MATH 1910 without a pre-requisite. Students with ACT Math of 25 or lower will need to take MATH 1710 and/or MATH 1720. Math Division will place after testing.

⁵At UTK, the sequence must be CHEM 2010/2011 and either a course in cell biology or genetics with accompanying laboratory.
