The Foreign Language discipline seeks to reveal how other peoples express, interpret and live out their personal existences through their language and culture.

This program is designed for the student who does intend to transfer to a baccalaureate degree program.

³While only the Intermediate sequence (6 hours) of foreign language is required for this degree, students must be proficient at the intermediate level to enroll in any foreign language 2010 class. Advanced preparation through the Elementary sequence (6 hours) of foreign language courses may be necessary.

⁴Students should consult a faculty advisor to determine appropriate course selections transferable to specific institutions. The following courses are strongly recommended to complement the foreign language program: GEOG 1012, GEOG 2010, HUM 1010, ANTH 1230, SPAN 2900, COMM 2090, THEA 1015.
