Recommended Full-Time Schedule
The following Recommended Full-Time Schedule is not a substitute for academic advising. You must meet with an academic advisor each semester to be cleared for registration. Consult with your advisor about scheduling and degree requirements. Also, see the current undergraduate catalog (catalog.ws.edu) for a complete list of requirements and electives. Requirements are continually under revision, and there is no guarantee they will not be changed or revoked. Contact the academic division or department for current information.
Factors that affect your progression include required Learning Support courses, your choices regarding campus location, course delivery method, and the days and times selected to take classes.
1General Education electives in each category must be chosen from approved courses listed in the General Education Program .
2Students who wish to pursue a concentration in actuarial science available at the UTK, UTC; MTSU or TSU should complete Economics I & II to fulfill the requirement.
3Students transferring to UTK must complete a non-U.S. history sequence.
4 TSU requires PHYS 2110/2120 Calculus-based Physics sequence; Industrial Track of the Professional Mathematics Concentration at MTSU requires PHYS 2110/2120 Calculus-based Physics sequence; UOM requires either PHYS 2110/2120 Calculus-based Physics sequence or CHEM 1110/1120 sequence. TTU requires a two-semester science lab sequence but not including PHYS 2010/2020 as an option.
5A programming language course is not required at the UTM or ETSU. Students transferring to UOM must earn at least a C in this course.
6Students transferring to MTSU, TSU, TTU, UoM, or UTM must earn a C or better in all listed MATH courses. Students transferring to UTK must earn a C or better in all MATH 2000 level courses.
Learning Support courses must be taken every semester until completed.
Total Credit Hours 60
* Students who wish to pursue a concentration in actuarial science available at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga; Middle Tennessee State University; or Tennessee State University should complete ECON 2100 and ECON 2200 to fulfill the requirement in behavioral/social sciences.

2Students can use any WSCC transferable course for a general elective. Transferable courses are designated with a (T) and courses not intended to transfer are noted as (NIT) in the course descriptions section of the catalog.
